umbrella design studio (previously studioRonen), founded in 2005 by Ronen Hirsch and located in Tel Aviv, Israel, is a multi-disciplinary design studio engaging in a variety of projects ranging from web design to product design. We believe that experience in all fields of design strengthens the outcome of any project.

Inspired by various aspects in our environment, our design process begins at the conceptual level, is enhanced by an original and creative thought process and ends with a complete and functional product with a contemporary design.

While attending the Design Academy Eindhoven in The Netherlands, Ronen acquired a conceptual approach to designing objects, interiors and graphics which result in new and unique designs. Work experience at Ron Arad Associates in London and previous experience as a technical support person in a web-based application developer, LivePerson, all contribute to the diversity of the studios capabilities.

Focusing mainly on web design and web applications, umbrella takes the clients needs and creates clean, contemporary and functional designs. The relationship between the studio and the client is very important - we make sure to keep the client happy with the outcome. Among our clients: YCD, Elysium Carbon Trade and Investment, Assif Strategies, Eli Lilly, studio Amir Zehavi, Moni Poni, Peleg Design, Buzz TV and Intovision.

"אמברלה" (בעבר "סטודיו רונן") הינו סטודיו לעיצוב המתעסק בפרויקטים מגוונים מעיצוב אתרי אינטרנט ועד עיצוב מוצר. אנו מעמינים שידע וניסויון בכל תחומי העיצוב מחזקים את התוצאה של כל פרויקט.

תהליך העיצוב שלנו מתחיל ברמה הקונספטואלית/רעיונית, נבנה ע"י חשיבה מקורית ויצירתית ומסתיים במוצר פונקצונלי עם עיצוב עכשיווי ויחודי, אם זה מוצר או אתר אינטרנט.

רונן למד באקדמיה לעיצוב באינדהובן שבהולנד (Design Academy Eindhoven). שם הוא רכש גישה קונספטואלית לעיצוב מוצרים, אוביקטים, רהיטים, חללים וגרפיקה. נסיון עבודה אצל המעצב רון ארד שבלונדון ונסיון כאיש תמיכה טכנית בחברת "Liveperson” תרמו למגוון היכולות של הסטודיו.

הסטודיו מתמקד בעיקר בעיצוב אתרי אינטרנט ופיתוח תוכנות אינטראקטיביות ובגרפיקה. הקשר בין הסטודיו ולקוחותיו בחשיבות עליונה – אנו דואגים שהלקוח יהיה שמח ומרוצה עם התוצאות שמוצגות לו תוך כדי תהליך הפיתוח של הפרויקט. בין לוקוחותיו: YCD, אליסיום - סחר והשקאות בפחמן, אסיף אסטרטגיות, אלי לילי, סטודיו אמיר זהבי, מוני פוני, פלג דיזיין - שחר פלג, באזז טלוויזיה ואינטוויז'ן.
